TAM Follow Up event – Workshop & HERE meeting PROVIDING QUALITY TEACHING AND LEARNING FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT UNDER EMERGENCIES/CRISES (23.10.2025, online)
On December 23, 2025, Workshop & HERE meeting “Providing Quality Teaching and Learning for Sustainable Development under Emergencies/Crises” was held by the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine together with HERE team and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine as a Follow Up event of the TAM event – Roundtable “Quality Assurance of Teaching and Learning under Emergencies/Crises” (15-16 July 2025, online).
The TAM Follow Up event began with opening remarks by Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, NEO – Ukraine Coordinator on impact of the Erasmus+ Programme and Ukraine status in the Programme.
Higher Education Reform Expert continued discussion on key issues of providing quality teaching and learning for sustainable development under emergencies/crises.
Oleg SHAROV, Director General of the Directorate of Higher and Adult Education, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Maryna MRUGA, Head of the Expert Group on Integration into the EHEA and Education Quality Assurance, Directorate of Higher and Adult Education, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Member of the European BFUG presented summary on higher education reforming under the emergencies according to EHEA principles and national legislation in 2025.
Draft ESG 2027 and Quality Assurance of teaching and learning under emergencies/crises was described by Iryna ZOLOTARYOVA, Member of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance; Professor, Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, HERE.
Andriy STAVYTSKYY, Professor of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, member of the working group on ECTS 2026 development commented status of the draft ECTS guide.
Olena KOZIEVSKA, Head of the Secretariat, Committee on Education, Science and Innovations, Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine – Parliament, presented recent development of the education legislation and prospects for 2026.
Zhanna TALANOVA, National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine proposed to discuss Draft ESG 2027, revision of ECTS in the context of the Quality Assurance of teaching and learning under emergencies/crises based on the presentation on key outcomes of the TAM event (15-16 July).
Other HEREs actively participated in the discussion and expressed various points of view and positions: Volodymyr LUGOVYY, First Vice-President, National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Volodymyr BAKHRUSHYN, Professor of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”, Member of the Scientific and Methodical Council (responsible for Higher Education Standards Development), MESU, Mychailo WYNNYCKYJ, Associate Professor of the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” (Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine (2023-2025), Head of the NAQA Secretariat (2019-2022), and Yuriy RASHKEVYCH, Professor of the Lviv Polytechnic National University, Member of the National Qualifications Agency (Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine (2017-2019).
HEREs proposed a set of the HERE&NEO activities on supporting higher education reform, on Quality Assurance issues in line with EHEA & Erasmus+ priorities for 2026.
15 HEREs and NEO – Ukraine representatives took part in the TAM Follow Up event.
